LogoDesign
A mark that has to hold up at 10 mm on a rubber stamp and at 8 feet on a hoarding — and still read when the press only has one ink.
The size test

Shown to scale. Every mark we draw gets checked at its smallest real use before it is signed off — if the detail disappears on a stamp, the detail comes out.
What youget
Everything handed over on completion — source files included.
- Two to three starting directions to react to
- One direction refined until it is right
- Vector master files — CDR, AI, EPS, PDF
- PNG with transparency and JPG, at the sizes you actually use
- Horizontal, stacked and icon-only lockups
- One-colour, reversed and black-and-white versions
- Minimum size and clear-space rules on one sheet
- Colour values in CMYK, RGB, HEX and Pantone
Where it goes wrong
The four things we check before anything is called final.
- A logo that is only a JPGIt cannot be enlarged, recoloured or printed cleanly. Yours is vector from the first draft.
- Detail that dies at small sizeThin strokes and tight gaps fill in on paper. We test before you commit.
- Colour that shifts at the pressScreen RGB is not print CMYK. You get both, plus a Pantone reference for exact matching.
- No single-ink versionStamps, invoices, embossing and vehicle stickers often get one colour. That version is drawn up front.

How a logo gets made
01
Brief
What the business does, who it sells to, and every place the mark will have to appear.
02
Directions
Two or three genuinely different routes, in black and white first, so the idea is judged before the colour.
03
Refinement
You pick one. Spacing, weight and colour get settled, and the size test decides the detail.
04
Handover
Every file, every variation, and the rules for using them — sent across and kept on file here.

Questionswe get asked
Two or three genuinely different directions, not five versions of the same idea. You react to those, we take one forward, and it gets refined until you are happy with it.
Yes. We work in CorelDRAW, so you get the CDR, and we export Illustrator, EPS and PDF alongside it so any printer or designer can open your logo without coming back to us.
Often, yes. If all you have is a low-resolution image, we redraw it properly in vector so it can be enlarged, recoloured and printed. If the design itself is the problem, we will say so rather than charge you to trace it.
You do, in full, once the work is settled. The source files come to you as part of the handover, so you are never locked into us to get at your own artwork.
It depends on how quickly feedback comes back and how many directions you want to see. Tell us your deadline when you call and we will say plainly whether it is possible.
